Kraken
One of the longest-standing crypto exchanges, known for strong security practices, deep liquidity, and a solid track record. Good for both spot trading and staking.
Coinbase
Probably the easiest on-ramp into crypto for most people. Regulated, publicly traded, and supports a wide range of assets. A good starting point if you’re new to the space.

Because the tax side is where most people get burned.
